Thornton Automotive Dover is looking for skilled A/B+ Service Technicians who want a better long-term home: a clean, organized, AIR-CONDITIONED service shop with strong family ownership, steady work, modern equipment, and a team that respects good technicians.

PAY & COMPENSATION: HOURLY PAY + EFFICIENCY BONUS. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, skill level, diagnostic ability, and overall production. You also have the opportunity to earn an efficiency/performance bonus tied to quality work, productivity, and helping keep the shop moving the right way. No flat-rate-only setup. No guessing. No games. Just a better way to pay good technicians.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Electrical diagnostics, drivability concerns, CAN/network issues, no-starts, and intermittent problems.
- General A/B+ level service and repair work performed accurately and efficiently.
- Quality checks, verification, and clear documentation of findings.
- Professional communication with advisors and management so the repair process stays organized.
- Help raise the overall level of the shop through quality work and a team-first attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven A/B+ level service technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic ability preferred.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Tools appropriate for your skill level.
- Quality-minded and team-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be insurable.
